These are some amazing souvenirs I got from my last trip to Beijing. I thought my love for tin toys was over a long time ago but when I saw these in Beijing, I just couldn’t resist buying them! LOVE the color combination and graphics on the tin toys! Would be wonderful if I could design a tin toy collection someday. Too ambitious?

No I think its possible! Tin is thin and feels like it can be sawn by hand!!
wow sawn tin toys by hand! How do we print the details on?
these are in incredible!!!
Hi Nicki, glad you like them too!
Thanks you for your last comment! I was so happy to read it and to get some news.
The grand father of my boy friend is a tin toys collector, he has so so much! Some incredible ones, next time we visit him (probably not before Christmas) I will take some pictures for you.
I have to admit I’m often more in love with the packages that with the tin toys themself.
I don’t think it’s too ambitious, it would be great if you would design a collection once!
xoxo
Lots of warm hugs
PS: Next week I will make a post about all this wonderful things you sent me, your “Japon” poster is now framed and in my living room
Hi Johanna!!! WOW I am looking forward to seeing grandpa’s collection of tin toys! Must be awesome! Please take lots of pictures when you visit him!
The packaging are really cute too I agree!
Would be nice to design a collection but will have to first find some place that can produce them…
WOW you framed my poster!?!?!??!!??!!! I am so excited to see the picture!!!
All the best Johanna!

These are perfect! Would love to see them in motion. I once tried making a tin soldier out of a drinks can for an animation – messy work if you don’t have the right tools! Metal cuts = way worse than paper cuts…!
Ohh my goodness, I love that jumping deer one! It’s absolutely adorable.
Estoy absolutamente de acuerdo, this toy´s are unique beautiful, and graphics asome.
