During the mt factory tour period, a few of the rooms at the Ivy Square Hotel at Kurashiki were converted into ‘mt rooms’. I was excited to stay in a mt tape hotel room for the first time. The hotel had a very classic/retro interior. Just like the mt factory tour bus, it was an interesting mix of the old and the new.

I was thrilled to find a set of limited edition tape on the table together with a ‘thank you’ note.

I can’t really capture the greatness of these silver and gold fold printed tapes but they are simply amazing!

so lucky! It always amuses me that Japan has so many of those hotels built during the bubble era, and the hotel lobbies look quite modern but the rooms look so 80s.
nice room! & great gift!
Oh, what a treat. You’re so lucky. This tape is awesome. I see I’ve missed some of your posts and the giveaway. Boo hoo! I actually am doing a giveaway on my blog too of a love machine paper puppet set. I’m going to start doing one every month. I tried to subscribe to your blog with an email subscription, but it wouldn’t let me saying it wasn’t enabled. I don’t know. Anyway, I’ll have to check back more often. Have fun and love your posts.
Thanks for dropping by Melissa! Your machine paper puppet set giveaway is so cute!! Thanks for letting me know about the email subscription problem, I will try to fix it soon! Please come visit again! I will be checking your lovely blog too. Cheers!
