This is UDAIJIN from our Hinamatsuri collection recently showcased at Japan Creative Centre in Singapore. Hinamatsuri, also known as Girl’s Day or Doll’s day in Japan, is celebrated on the 3rd of March. Hina-dolls are displayed on platforms to wish for the good health and well-being of girls in the family. Here's our interpretation of the traditional dolls and their stories. We hope you like it!
UDAIJIN is a young Minister who works alongside Sadaijin to protect the Emperor and Empress. He may be stubborn at times but is definitely a loyal servant to the imperial family.
