The Kokeshi Story
Kokeshi is a wooden toy handmade by craftsmen in the Tohoku region. It was originally created for the children who visited the onsens with their families. It is said that the craftsmen had wanted to created something to keep the children entertained as the holiday activities were more suited for the adults. We love the combination of traditional craft with a playful intent, thus created a collection inspired by the Kokeshi.
